Love American Style

And while I'm doing some housecleaning with that last post, I thought I'd post something I put up in response to a request somebody made on the old Hanszunblog site. Somebody had asked for a copy of the soundtrack to the TV show, 'Love American Style' and Hans had put up a post asking if anybody had it. I was sure somebody else was going to fulfill her (at least if memory serves, I think it was a her) request, but after quite a while when nobody else did, I thought I'd give it a shot. I put up a link to the album in the comments of that post, but I was never sure if anybody had ever gotten it. It was of a vinyl rip (not mine), I had gotten a long, long time ago.

It was actually the first time I had ever attempted anything like that; I'd never uploaded anything to one of those file storage places before, so I wasn't sure if it was going to work out. Now that I think about it, I remember that much later, when I was considering putting up the same link at the Lost & Found Albums site, I tried the link again and I think it was still working, so I guess that means at least one person must've downloaded the album in the interim (but eventually when I tried it out much later, it was finally dead.) So, I thought I'd put it up again here(but this time I've added the password to the file):

Do you have the password for the Girl from UNCLE? I'd like to get it for a good friend who's a HUGE UNCLE fan, but I can't get it open - tried you_dont_have_to_visit but it didn't work.

Thanks

Hi viv!

I apologize for not responding sooner, but as you can tell by my post, 'I'm An Idiot', I didn't realize you had asked the question about 'The Girl from UNCLE' file until now.

I downloaded it & tried unzipping it and it worked fine. I don't know what happened, but I know sometimes when I or other people cut & paste passwords, it sometimes adds an extra blank at the end which screws things up. If this is the case, make sure to cut & paste the exact area without the extra blank at the end.

I don't know if this is what happened to you, but could you try it again, see what happens, and let me know if you still have a problem? If you typed it instead of cut & paste, you obviously typed it correctly since you did it correctly in the comment, so I don't know what else could be the problem.

As a way of making it up to you, I can put up other Man from UNCLE soundtracks if you want, or make a specific request for something or just let me know what type of music you or your friend like and I'll try to put up anything else you might want. :))

For my part one and all must browse on this.

Oh, please, if anyone has a new link for LOVE AMERICAN STYLE, I would so appreciate!
