The Silencers (1966) (Elmer Bernstein)

Here's another soundtrack that I would've posted a long time ago, but I always figured somebody else would post it, but a while back, when I did a blog search, it didn't seem like anybody had. Maybe everybody figured the same thing - that somebody else would've posted it. Or maybe everybody already had it. Or maybe somebody did post it and I forgot about it. Either way, here it is!

I think I did the blog search when Scorebaby Annex asked for it when he posted Murderer's Row, but I believe somebody gave him a link to a copy in the comments, so I never bothered to post this one, but then it occurred to me that not everybody reads the comments, so maybe they missed it. I don't know if this version is any different from that one, but here it is anyway. Elmer Bernstein scoring a Matt Helm movie.....does it get any better? (Well, maybe Jerry Goldsmith scoring a Flint movie or John Barry scoring a Bond movie, but it's a pretty close call.) Want some swinging crime jazz? Enjoy!
