Covers, Etc. - Tennis Music

In honor of Wimbledon, I thought I'd put up some music that reminds me of tennis.

'Players' is the 1979 film with Dean-Paul Martin (Dean's son) as a tennis player & Ali MacGraw. 'The Reincarnation of Peter Proud' starred Michael Sarrazin, Jennifer O'Neill, & Margot Kidder in the paranormal drama. Andy Griffith was on various TV series including 'The Andy Griffith Show', 'The Headmaster', 'Salvage' (I wish that one had stayed on longer), & 'Matlock', he appeared in various films like 'A Face in the Crowd', 'No Time For Sergeants', & 'Rustler's Rhapsody' as well as countless TV movies, he had a successful comedy career as Deacon Andy, and as far as I know, hasn't been publicly associated with Ping Pong. (.........although he has been associated with whistling.)

Originally, I also wanted to put in some music from the films, 'Mr. Hulot's Holiday' & 'Strangers on a Train' which had memorable tennis scenes with Jacques Tati and Farley Granger, respectively. But unfortunately when I went to look for them, I realized they were in that frustrating group of CD's that were in storage, so I had to replace them with some Ping Pong music (......well, it's a kind of tennis). (I know, I know, you don't care.)

Also, I would've liked to put in some music from the films, 'Annie Hall' (with Woody Allen playing tennis) & the more recent 'Wimbledon', but I don't have any music from those films (as far as I know). Also, there's another famous scene in the film, 'Blow-Up', but I don't think I have that soundtrack either (although I think another blog somewhere has shared it, but I can't remember where off-hand).

To be honest, I only thought of putting this up yesterday, so it didn't give me a lot of time to look for other music, but I hope you'll enjoy them anyway.

My track isn't from his copy of the album, so I don't know if there is any difference in sound quality, but I'm guessing the sound quality is probably similar.
